Robert F. Horn

Founding Partner

Bob began his career as a property casualty adjuster for a major insurance company. He specializes in property and construction negligence defense, subrogation and recovery of losses. He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for the past ten years. Bob has extensive trial experience and has secured million dollar awards and settlements on behalf of individual clients in contract and commercial litigation, and has argued cases to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

When he is not working, Bob is an active volunteer for the Malvern Retreat House, a parent volunteer with the Malvern Scout Troop and a member of St. Patrick’s Parish. Bob is an avid 76ers and Eagles fan.

Patricia Burns Horn

She has been named to Main Line Today’s Top Lawyers and won the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Advocacy. Patti trained at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and has tried to verdict well over 150 jury trials with a stellar win record. When not working, Patti volunteers at her son’s school, and is a lifelong volunteer at animal shelters and founder of Save Homeless Animals Group.

Ken O’Neill

Of Counsel

Ken brings a wealth of knowledge and experience handling casualty defense cases.  Ken began his career as a casualty claims adjuster with a major insurance company.   Upon graduation from law school, Ken began as a trial attorney representing defendants in auto and premises negligence cases, handling hundreds of arbitrations and trials throughout the Philadelphia Metro counties and Lehigh Valley counties.  His legal talents resulted in his promotion to Managing Attorney of a large insurance staff counsel office handling the entire state of Pennsylvania.    Ken now focuses on insurance coverage litigation and defense of auto and premises negligence liability cases.

Ken is also an adjunct professor, having taught insurance law at Montgomery County Community College and now as adjunct professor at Pennsylvania State University.  He is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the ABA, the Montgomery County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, and served as both the Chair and Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Insurance Staff Attorney Committee.

Mr. O’Neill is an active member of the community having, among other things, served on a number of boards and civic committees. Ken has also been actively involved in coaching baseball, football and basketball, most recently contributing as an assistant coach for American Legion Youth Baseball. He continues to work with a number of youth development, civic and mentoring groups.

Tracy Burns

Tracy heads the paralegal practice. She is a retired US Army JAG Captain, and was on Law Review at the University of Notre Dame Law School. Tracy is a research specialist.

Doreen Kaufmann brings an abundance of experience handling personal injury and employment law claims to her position of Senior Paralegal. She has experience as an attorney at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and representing injured workers in Worker Compensation proceedings. She is highly skilled at investigating injury claims.
